AI is dominated by a relatively few companies—Amazon; Google; and Microsoft. Machine-learning tools as a cloud-based serivice is making AI availalbe to a broad audience. Amazon's subsidiary, Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS), dominates cloud AI. Google has an open-source AI library for building machine-learning software along with Cloud AutoML—a suite of pre-trained systems. Microsoft's Azure is an AI-powered cloud platform enabling developers worldwide. Micorosoft is partnering with Amazon to offer Gluon, an open-source deep-learning library to build neural networks. The tech industry is seeding the AI revolution within the cloud as an emerging technology to soon be within the reach of everyone.
